New Zealand squad for Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 — Sophie Devine to lead; Four players receive maiden call up

New Zealand its announced its squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025, on Wednesday.

The 15-member squad will be captained by veteran Sophie Devine, and will also include four players who will be travelling to their first-ever ODI World Cup.

Flora Devonshire, Polly Inglis, Bella James and Bree Illing are the four who have have earned their maiden World Cup call ups.

Additionally, the squad will be anchored by Suzie Bates, who, along with Devine, is attending a fifth one-day World Cup; Lea Tahuhu, attending her fourth, and Maddy Green and Melie Kerr, attending their third.
