The auction for the 2026 SA20 season was held in Johannesburg on Tuesday.

Dewald Brevis became the most expensive player in the competition’s history, signing with Pretoria Capitals for Rand 16.5 million (₹8.3 crore).

Two-time champion with Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Aiden Markram, also attracted heavy bidding, with Durban’s Super Giants securing him for Rand 14 million.
