Coolie hits OTT: Rajinikanth’s film now streaming on Amazon Prime Video with multi-language subtitles

Superstar Rajinikanth’s blockbuster Coolie has officially made its OTT debut on Prime Video streaming platform. After a successful theatrical run, the action thriller is now digitally available on Amazon Prime Video in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.

 

Further enhancing the viewing experience, Coolie is also available with multiple subtitle options—English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, allowing fans across regions, and audiences worldwide to enjoy it seamlessly.

 

Coolie made its digital premiere at midnight on September 11, 2025, and Amazon Prime Video unveiled a special promo video with film’s director Lokesh Kanagaraj, and actors Sathyaraj, Shruthi Haasan, and Nagarjuna. 

 

 

A Sun Pictures production with Anirudh Ravichander for music, Coolie comes with a runtime of 168 minutes. The movie follows Deva (Rajinikanth), who once living a quiet life, is shaken when his close friend Rajasekar (Sathyaraj) dies under suspicious circumstances.

 

Determined to uncover the truth, he infiltrates a powerful gang operating in the shadows. As he investigates, Deva becomes entangled in a dangerous web of crime, betrayal, and secrets from his own past, forcing him to confront powerful enemies while protecting the ones he loves.

 

Coolie also stars Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Rachita Ram, Kanna Ravi, Charle, among others and has cameos by Aamir Khan, and Pooja Hegde. Sandy master has choreographed the songs in the film, while Anbariv action. The movie has Girish Gangadharan for cinematography, Philomin Raj for edits.
